USA drafts 15-point deal with Iran to end Middle East conflict

USA is set to announce a one month ceasefire, during which all the 15 elements will be discussed on

A draft agreement prepared by the United States aimed at reaching an understanding with Iran over the ongoing conflict in the Middle East includes provisions on abandoning long-range missile programs, halting nuclear weapons development, and issues related to the Strait of Hormuz.

This 15-point proposal was delivered to Iran through Pakistan. According to The New York Times, its contents are intended to help bring the conflict to an end.

Three sources familiar with the draft told N12 News that the United States is prepared to announce a one-month ceasefire, during which negotiations on the proposal would take place.

Key elements of the draft include dismantling all infrastructure that could support nuclear weapons production, a commitment by Iran to stop pursuing nuclear weapons, and transferring all uranium currently in the country abroad.

The proposal also calls on Iran to halt its support and arms supply to armed groups in the region.

In addition, the Strait of Hormuz would be declared an international waterway open to all.

On March 24, 2026, Donald Trump stated that members of his administration were in contact with key individuals interested in signing the agreement.

He said, “We are talking to the real people who want a deal badly, and they want to sign a deal—you wouldn’t believe how much they want it.”

However, Iran’s military has denied that any negotiations are taking place between the United States and Iran, while Pakistan has expressed readiness to assist in facilitating the talks.

The conflict in Iran reportedly began on March 28, 2026.
