Aston Villa Push to Sign Tammy Abraham, Include Yasin Özcan in Deal; PSG’s Gonçalo Ramos Also Explored

Villa aim to strengthen attack as they chase leaders, lining up multiple striking options this January window.

Aston Villa are closing in on a move to bring former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League from Besiktas. According to reports, the Villans have tabled an offer worth €21 million, with 19-year-old Yasin Özcan included as part of the deal. Abraham, who joined Besiktas on loan last summer with an obligation to buy, has agreed personal terms with Villa, and the move is now awaiting finalization and medicals.

The potential signing comes as Villa seek reinforcements to support Ollie Watkins and maintain their challenge near the top of the Premier League. Currently third in the table, Unai Emery’s side are just seven points behind leaders Arsenal.

Should the Abraham deal stall, Villa have also made contact regarding Fenerbahce’s Youssef En-Nesyri. In addition, reports suggest Villa are exploring a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Gonçalo Ramos. Although Ramos has scored six goals in 24 appearances this season, he struggles for regular starts due to Luis Enrique’s preference for Ousmane Dembélé. PSG are reportedly reluctant to sell, but Emery’s connection with Ramos through a shared agent could aid negotiations.

Villa’s aggressive approach highlights their ambition to strengthen their attack this January, signaling intent to keep pace with the Premier League’s leading sides and secure a strong finish to the season.
