Cristiano Ronaldo marries Georgina Rodríguez after nearly a decade together

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, a model, in Portugal after nearly 10 years of being together.

The 41-year-old Ronaldo and Rodríguez exchanged wedding vows in a religious ceremony held in the city of Cascais on August 11, 2026.

The couple announced the marriage in a joint post on their social media accounts, where they also shared images showing their wedding rings.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together since 2017 and have five children. The marriage comes after Rodríguez announced on August 11, 2025, that the couple were preparing to get married.

Their five children include twins Eva Maria and Mateo, both aged nine, eight-year-old Alana, four-year-old Bella, and 16-year-old Cristiano Jr., Ronaldo’s son from a previous relationship.

In April 2022, the couple announced that one of their twin babies, Bella’s twin brother, had died shortly after birth.

Ronaldo first met Rodríguez in January 2017. Their relationship later gained wider public attention through Rodríguez’s Netflix reality series, “I Am Georgina,” which premiered in 2022 and featured Ronaldo speaking about their relationship.

In December 2025, Ronaldo surprised Rodríguez by proposing to her and presenting her with an engagement ring, marking another major milestone in their long-term relationship.
