Iran warns of more powerful war with US and Israel, promises new weapons and targets

Iran has declared that it is prepared for a more intense war than its previous confrontation with the United States and Israel, warning that the world could be surprised by new weapons and potential attacks if fighting resumes.

Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said the country had prepared a range of weapons and identified new locations for potential strikes, including targets far beyond the Middle East.

“The world will be surprised. We have identified new locations for attacks that have never been targeted before,” he said.

Mohebbi added that Iran’s confrontation with the United States was not over and that its military was prepared for a prolonged conflict.

CNN reported that Iranian military officials have repeatedly claimed in recent weeks that the country has strengthened its military capabilities and could expand its attacks if the United States launches further strikes against Iran.

Potential targets cited by Iran include undersea internet cables, artificial intelligence (AI) facilities, and oil and gas infrastructure.

The warnings come as US President Donald Trump’s administration considers new options for striking Iran, including the possible use of the powerful GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb, commonly known as the “Mother of All Bombs,” against energy infrastructure and facilities associated with Iran’s nuclear weapons programme.

Iran has also announced that it conducted military exercises that included the simultaneous launch of 30 missiles.
