Khaby Lame ranks among top creators after $975 million brand deal

Khaby Lame, the world’s most-followed TikTok creator, has been ranked among the top global digital influencers, highlighting both his massive online reach and growing commercial value following a major brand transaction.

The Senegal-born, Italy-based TikTok creator generated around $9.9 million in 2026, according to Forbes, ranking 15th among the world’s top digital creators. He has built a massive following of over 161.6 million users on TikTok, where his silent comedy clips mock viral trends and everyday online behavior in a simple, universal style.

Lame’s influence extends beyond social media entertainment, with major brand partnerships including Hugo Boss, Binance, and collaborations with Hollywood studios. His online content continues to attract billions of views, making him one of the most recognizable digital personalities globally.

Earlier this year, his brand-linked company Step Distinctive Limited was valued at about $975 million in a deal involving Hong Kong-based Rich Sparkle Holdings. The transaction positioned Lame as a major shareholder while transferring commercial rights tied to his global brand.

The deal also includes the use of his likeness and digital identity features for future AI-driven content and livestream commerce initiatives, reflecting the growing overlap between influencer branding and technology.

Born in Senegal and raised in Italy, Lame rose to global fame during the COVID-19 pandemic after being laid off from factory work. His simple, wordless videos quickly gained international appeal, breaking language barriers and making him TikTok’s most-followed creator.

He now leads ahead of other major influencers, reinforcing his position as a dominant figure in the global creator economy.

The development highlights the growing value of digital creators as commercial assets, with influencer brands increasingly structured as large-scale businesses rather than traditional social media accounts.
