Mike Tyson Starts New Fight Against Dispose Food

Partnering with RFK Jr. and Secretary Rollins, the boxing legend turns personal tragedy into a national health campaign

Mike Tyson is stepping into a new battle , this time for America’s health. The former heavyweight boxing champion is teaming up with Secretary RFK Jr. and Secretary Rollins to teach people about the dangers of ultra-processed foods.

Tyson says the issue is very personal. He shared that his sister died at just 25 years old due to obesity. The painful loss, he says, is the reason he wants to speak out.

“I want to be a hero in this field because it affects my life,” Tyson said.

Ultra-processed foods include many packaged snacks, sugary drinks, fast food, and ready-to-eat meals. Health experts say eating too much of these foods can lead to obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and other serious health problems.

Through this partnership, Tyson hopes to use his voice and fame to encourage families to make healthier food choices and understand what they are eating.

After years of fighting in the ring, Tyson says he is now ready to fight for something even bigger, the health of the nation.
