Nile Developments has unveiled the 28th floor of its flagship Tycoon Tower project in Egypt’s New Capital, marking another significant milestone in the country’s rapidly advancing real estate sector and highlighting the growing momentum behind modern urban development across Africa.
As African cities continue to expand and attract investment, the development reflects growing ambition to create modern commercial and mixed-use destinations that support the continent’s evolving economic landscape.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Taher, Chairperson of Nile Developments, said the latest launch forms part of the company’s strategy to introduce distinctive investment opportunities within Tycoon Tower as construction continues to progress.
According to the Daily News Egypt, the 28th-floor offering is being positioned as an investment opportunity, with its location, elevation, views and engineering specifications highlighted as key features.
At the same time, Taher said the project is being developed using modern high-rise construction technologies and international engineering expertise, demonstrating the company’s commitment to delivering a large-scale development aligned with the technical requirements of contemporary tower construction.
Furthermore, Taher described Tycoon Tower as more than a conventional real estate project, emphasising its integrated design and the use of advanced engineering and construction technologies. Notably, construction has been progressing at about one floor every seven days, a pace the company says demonstrates the scale and efficiency of the work being undertaken at the site.
In addition, Nile Developments said Tycoon Tower has reached a record height for a privately developed building in Egypt, strengthening its position as one of the country’s notable private-sector high-rise projects. Beyond Tycoon Tower, the development forms part of Nile Developments’ broader portfolio in the New Capital, which also includes Nile Business City, a multi-tower mixed-use development bringing together commercial and administrative functions.
Consequently, the company’s expanding portfolio reflects the broader growth of integrated urban developments in Egypt, where new business districts are emerging alongside major infrastructure projects. More importantly, the continued progress of projects such as Tycoon Tower contributes to Africa’s wider urban transformation, as cities across the continent increasingly embrace vertical construction, modern engineering solutions, and investment-led development.
The latest floor launch underscores the growing confidence surrounding Egypt’s New Capital while highlighting the opportunities emerging from Africa’s expanding real estate and urban development landscape.
