It includes leaders from sectors such as education, real estate, law, arts, finance, media, technology, and philanthropy.

A statement shared by Village Urugwiro on social media added: “They visited Rwanda with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the country’s history, the journey of rebuilding after the Genocide against the Tutsi, the progress in citizens’ development, and inclusive governance.”

The Francine LeFrak Foundation is committed to improving the livelihoods of communities by fighting extreme poverty. It also supports survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, including in matters related to justice.

Founded in 2009, the organization supports thousands of women each year. It invests in various initiatives, including building capacity in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, technology and computer skills, handicrafts, and more.

The foundation also provides financial grants aimed at helping women overcome barriers that prevent them from achieving their goals.
