Rwandan agricultural exports generated RWF 15billion in only 5 days

The National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) announced that Rwanda earned over RWF 15 billion from agricultural and livestock exports between March 9–13, 2026.

During these five days, Rwanda exported 8,300 tonnes of products including coffee, tea, vegetables, fruits, flowers, tubers, legumes, cereals, livestock, and animal products.

571 tonnes of Coffee generated over RWF 5.4 billion, 649 tonnes of Tea generated over RWF 2.7 billion, 431 tonnes of Vegetables generated over RWF 759 million, 221 tonnes of Fruits generated over RWF 253 million and 30 tonnes of Flowers generated over RWF 274 million.

Coffee and Tea are the leading agricultural products on the international market

Main export destinations include United Kingdom, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, and other African countries

Other exports; 6,223 tonnes of additional products generated over RWF 4.8 billion, 248 tonnes of animal products generated over RWF 667 million
