Trump says the US will target Iran’s oil refineries if it does not reopen the Straight of Hormuz

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that if Iran does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz, its oil refineries and wells will be targeted and destroyed

Iran recently stated that a draft peace agreement proposed by the United States is unacceptable.

Israel forces launched missile strikes on Iranian military infrastructure as well as facilities used by the Hezbollah in Beirut.

Turkey said that heavy missiles fired toward Iran passed through its airspace.

Sources told Reuters that U.S. troops from the 82nd Airborne Division have begun deploying to the Middle East and could be used in potential strikes against Iran if necessary.

The conflict, now lasting a month, has resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian officials, including the country’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
