President Paul Kagame traveled to France, in the city of Chantilly, where he is attending the World Policy Conference (WPC), an international forum focused on governance and various aspects of development.
The Head of State is participating in the 18th edition of the conference alongside other global leaders. He is also expected to meet Thierry de Montbrial, who leads the conference and heads the French Institute of International Relations.
The World Policy Conference brings together participants from diverse backgrounds around the world to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation based on mutual respect among nations.
On Friday evening, President Kagame and Thierry de Montbrial are scheduled to meet during a dinner, where discussions will cover current international cooperation dynamics, the role of global politics, and issues concerning Africa.
Founded in 2008, the conference aims to promote good global governance, analyze regional and international challenges, and explore practical solutions while fostering trust and dialogue.
Other leaders expected at the conference include Emmanuel Macron, who will deliver a speech; Gérard Larcher; Aleksandar Vučić; Nabil Fahmy; Anwar Gargash; Anne-Claire Legendre; Patrick Pouyanné; and Dominique Senequier, among others.
