The IRGC did not specify the exact location of the targeted base, but Kuwait said it intercepted missiles and drones without identifying who launched them.

This marks the second time in three days that the United States has launched strikes on Iranian military facilities, saying the operations were carried out in self-defense.
The IRGC said its attack on the American military base was intended as retaliation for the strike conducted in Bandar Abbas.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqai condemned the American attacks, saying they amounted to a violation of agreements previously reached between the two countries.
The conflict between the United States and Iran has now entered its third month and has significantly affected the global economy, largely due to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping route through which a large volume of international trade passes, including around 20% of the world’s oil supplies.
