The Rwanda National Police and the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fight against crime and enhancing collaboration between the two law enforcement institutions.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Rwanda’s Ambassador to South Korea, Nkubito Manzi Bakuramutsa.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation in combating transnational crimes committed by organized criminal groups, sharing information and expertise, providing training and implementing other programmes aimed at strengthening the capacity of police institutions in both countries.
Through the partnership, the two police forces will support each other in enhancing knowledge and capabilities in crime prevention and investigation, with the aim of improving security and strengthening efforts to combat crimes affecting both countries.
