More African Heads of State confirm attendance at Africa CEO Forum in Kigali

President Mamadi Doumbouya of Guinea and President Daniel Chapo of Mozambique have joined the growing list of African leaders expected to attend the upcoming Africa CEO Forum 2026 in Kigali.

According to the organizers, the forum will now bring together six African heads of state, including Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame as the host.

Earlier announcements had already confirmed some participating leaders, but the list has now expanded to include Presidents Mamadi Doumbouya and Daniel Chapo.

The Africa CEO Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place in Kigali from May 14 to 15, 2026.

Other heads of state expected at the forum include President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria, President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema of Gabon and President Mohamed Cheikh Ould El Ghazouani of Mauritania.

The Africa CEO Forum is a rotating annual event hosted in different African countries. Rwanda will host it for the third time, having previously welcomed the forum in 2019 and again in 2024.

The event is organized by Jeune Afrique Media Group, publisher of Jeune Afrique magazine, in partnership with Rainbow Unlimited, a Swiss company specialized in organizing major economic conferences.

The forum brings together influential figures from Africa’s private sector, including top business executives, investors, policymakers and entrepreneurs.

Among other expected participants are Makhtar Diop of IFC, Abdullah Almusaibeeh, Ewit Ahderom, Sidi Ould Tah, Serge Ekue, Jean-Guy Afrika, Schneider Electric Vice President Manish Pant and billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote.

The forum will also feature Hashim Ghabashi, Dr. Diane Karusisi, Philippe Labonne, Edha Nahdi and executives from Equity Group Holdings Limited.
