Tehran billboard threatens to kill Trump as tensions between Iran and US escalate

A large billboard bearing a death threat against US President Donald Trump has been erected in Iran’s capital, Tehran, as tensions between the two countries continue to rise following the war involving the United States, Israel and Iran.

The billboard was put up on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Enghelab Square, one of Tehran’s busiest public areas.

It features an image of Trump holding prison bars with his head bowed, alongside the words, “We will kill Trump.”

According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), another nearby billboard displayed images of Trump, US Vice President JD Vance, US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, all depicted with bloodied faces and torn clothing.

Large crowds gathered in Enghelab Square, waving red flags, while others carried placards bearing messages threatening further bloodshed.

The demonstrators called for revenge for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s former Supreme Leader, who was killed in US-Israeli strikes against the country on February 28, 2026.

In another part of Tehran, at Tajrish Square, images were also displayed showing Trump lying on the ground with a bloodied face, while another person stood with a foot on his head.

Iran accuses the Trump administration of carrying out attacks on civilian facilities, including a school and a wedding venue, killing numerous people.

The developments come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring Iran and the United States to negotiations aimed at preventing the war from erupting again.
